Helmut Nagy
One of the most intriguing aspects of the semantic web is the shift to an open world assumption. Companies will be able to answer questions they cannot answer yet or create new knowledge by linking their databases or even link to data from outside.

After visiting a higher technical education institute (HTL) for "Communications Engineering and Electronics" Helmut Nagy studied Media Studies & Communication Science and German Philology at the University of Vienna. In the course of his studies Helmut specialized in Information & Documentation and Knowledge management and finished his studies with a diploma thesis on "Knowledge Management and the Semantic Web".
Starting his job history parallel to his studies he gathered experience in the field of technical documentation and the use of social software especially wikis for improving the communication and collaboration in companies.
In April 2010 he joined the Semantic Web Company as a consultant in the fields of controlled vocabularies, semantic technologies. He is also responisible for documentation and quality management for the PoolParty product family.

Nach dem Besuch eine höheren technischen Bundeslehranstalt (HTL) für Nachrichtentechnik und Elektronik studierte Helmut Nagy Publizistik und Kommunikationswissenschaften sowie Germanistik an der Universität Wien. Im Zuge seiner Studienlaufbahn spezialisierte er sich auch auf die Themen Information & Dokumentation und Wissensmanagement und schloss das Studium mit einer Diplomarbeit zum Thema "Wissensmanagement und das Semantic Web" ab.
In seiner parallel zum Studium gestarteten Berufslaufbahn sammelte Helmut Erfahrungen in der Technischen Dokumentation und im Einsatz von Social Software zur Verbesserung der Kommunikations- und Kollaborationsprozesse in Unternehmen.
Im April 2010 trat er als Consultant für die Bereiche kontrollierte Vokabulare und semantische Technologien in die Semantic Web Company ein. Er ist auch für Dokumentation und Qualitätsmanagement für die PoolParty Produktfamilie verantwortlich.
