The UNIQA Group Austria contracted the Semantic Web Company to give support in requirements specification and conceptual design for the new intranet / knowledge management solution as well as in evaluation of enterprise search technologies.
The UNIQA Group Austria invited the Semantic Web Company to give support to the requirements specification and conceptual design of the new UNIQA intranet / knowledge management system for the group. The requirements were clear defined: specification of all relevant use cases along all departments of the group as a basis for the requirements specification and conceptual design for a new intranet / knowledge management solution that beares in mind all user & department needs, is built on top of innovative and stable technologies and enables better information management as well as collaboration and communication mechanisms of social software principles.
In a consulting project lasting several months the Semantic Web Company guided and accomplished the whole requirements elicitation and - specification for the new intranet / knowledge management solution of the UNIQA group Austria in the form of workshops with the respective persons from several departments, an actual state analysis as well as the definition of goals, the specification of methods and technologies right up to the final requirements specification document including also calculation and project schedule for the implementation. Furthermore the SWC guided the UNIQA group in the evaluation of relevant software systems for the intranet / knowledge management solution as well as for the evaluation of an enterprise search technology / vendor.
The result of the consulting project were the final requirements specification of a new intranet / knowledge management solution as well as the recommendation for relevant technologies and software systems including an evaluation and recommendation for a enterprise search system / vendor and respective project calculations and schedules as a basis for the implementation of the mentioned services and systems.
