Together with REEEP (Renewable Energy and Energy Efficiency Partnership) the Semantic Web Company (SWC) has composed a fundamental publication on the topic of Linked Open Data.
Linked Open Data: The Essentials - is a a quick start guide for decision makers who need to quickly get up to speed with the Linked Open Data (LOD) concept and who want to make their organisation a part of this movement.

This book was officially launched in the course of the World Energy Future Summit in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates, in the course of the side event 'Linking Open Data to Accelerate Low-Carbon Development - A workshop for decision makers in clean energy organisations' that took place on Wednesday the 18th of January 2012 in Masdar Institute at Masdar City - where Martin Kaltenböck, Managing Partner & CFO of the Semantic Web Company gave the introductionary presentation on the topics of Open Government, Open Government Data and Linked Open Data to ~35 decision makers from the field of Clean Energy and Climate Change Development.
