Consulting

Every new start is a challenge. To get the clue of Semantic Web and Web 2.0 is not enough, organisations also have to put things to work. Innovative ideas have to materialize in real projects.

Multilevel Approach

Especially projects using Semantic Web techniques have to be developed at various levels:

•    Technical infrastructure: The aim of the Semantic Web is to integrate and connect dispersed data with different formats. Semantic technologies can interlink various data sources and provide them with metadata. Already existing systems are not being changed, just enriched with semantic information.
•    Organisational and community-perspective: Increase of effiency, saving of costs and significant enhancement of quality in consequence of supplying associates with improved relevant information within business processes. Before deploying any technology you get a detailed analysis of critical information-flow and skill-intensive processes. It´s not the technology but the people, their social networks and their knowledge-artefacts who are central within the Semantic Web.
•    User-perspective: Semantic Web technologies should improve the operability of software-applications – such as search engines - and make them more comfortable to use. Personalization through intelligent systems – that´s the key.
