11.07.2008
TRIPLE-I, a joint venture of the conferences I-KNOW, I-SEMANTICS and I-MEDIA, explores current trends like Enterprise 2.0, SOA, and Web Services. 550 participants from more than 30 nations are expected in Graz in September.
Conference Concept
TRIPLE-I reflects the increasing importance and convergence of knowledge management, new media technologies and semantic systems. This unique concept aims at bridging the gaps between the various communities and their technology fields.
Building upon the reputation of the premium conference series I-KNOW and SEMANTICS the upcoming event addresses representatives from academia, industry and public administrations. TRIPLE-I will offer its participants a unique platform either to present latest and leading edge developments or to catch up with the developments of most innovative IT technologies, content applications, business models and emerging market opportunities.
I-KNOW
Knowledge management has been called everything from innovative and crucial to new wine in old bottles and dead. Usually, different perceptions spring from different perspectives. The aim of the I-KNOW '08, the International Conference on Knowledge Management is to bring a broad array of these perspectives together, to learn from each other and to jointly find promising ways ahead for the future. In 2008, this will be reflected by putting special emphasis on discovering and comprehensively managing knowledge relationships, and on service-based knowledge management solutions.
I-MEDIA
Media technologies are currently facing challenges and opportunities arising from a number of trends: Under the Web 2.0 umbrella, social aspects of software are gaining importance, and a new focus on simplicity in user interface design is taking hold. I-MEDIA reflects the increasing importance and convergence of knowledge management and new media technologies.
I-SEMANTICS
I-SEMANTICS '08 (former SEMANTICS) offers a forum of exchange for innovative businesses and European research institutions and companies that concentrate on semantic technologies. Vendors and developers of semantic technologies and applications will present their products and services to the public.Leading international experts will discuss state of the art developments and future trends from the technological, economical and social view and present up-to-the-minute research & development in semantic systems.
2nd International Cooperation Event
Due to the huge success last year, FFG and EEN recently decided to organize an international cooperation event on this year’s TRIPLE-I again. The organizers cordially invite participants to take advantage of this exceptional opportunity to personally discuss their ideas & technologies with potential collaboration partners from all over Europe!
This event supports the finding of potentially interesting cooperation partners for long-term business relationships. Interested TRIPLE-I participants have to fill out a web-form thereby creating a business-profile before attending the conference. In analogy to speed-dating participants receive a detailed schedule about their arranged appointments on the conference. On an average, every second talk results in further and more detailed meetings.
